"Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."
Colossians 4:5,6

---

Every situation is a opportunity where the light of the Gospel can shine.

We interact with a lot of people on a daily basis - in school, with co-workers, on the line at the supermarket, on the bus, even interacting with the drivers of other cars around you.

All of these are opportunities where Christ can be revealed.

Unfortunately for us, non-believers will always look at the way Christians act and behave with more scrutiny. It's unfair to some extent, but I think it places us in a potentially opportune situation.

Are we rejoicing in all circumstances when things dont go our way? Are we worshiping God, like Paul and Silas in prison, when the situation would normally not call for such a response?

Are we living lives of gutsy faith and courage, like Joab and Abishai when they were surrounded by the Ammonites and Arameans?

Are we able to proclaim Christ in every circumstance or do we cower in fear of rejection?

Are we making the most of every opportunity?
