"Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples.
Luke 8:25
---
A very well-known passage, yet always a timely one that demands attention every now and then.
Where is our faith, our savior asks us. Where is your faith in the midst of the storm?
Where is your faith, he asks his disciples. Was their faith in the person steering the ship? Was their faith in their abilities as fisherman? Was their faith in the sturdy wood that made up the ship?
Where is your faith, he asks us? Is your faith in your intellect? Is your faith in your secure job position? Is your faith in your seemingly stable life? Is your faith in your education?
Jesus asks this question so that we would place our faith in the one asking the question.
Our faith needs/must rest on Christ alone - the calmer of storms, the driver of our ship.
