"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path"

psalm 119:105

God's word illuminates the path of our entire lives. There is no point in our lives where God's Word will not prevail and show insight. We will always need His word to direct us.

A path without light is a scary road - there may be bumps, turns, and obstacles in the way. Without light, walking in the darkness can become a very difficult and even painful task.

But the word is a lamp to our feet. The light to our path. With it, we can navigate the twists and turns of life. While this won't rid our path of the obstacles, we will be prepared for them and can walk confidently in step with Him.

The Word is always beneficial, profitable. It will never get too old - it will never be fully researched with every nugget of truth extracted from it. There is a reason why the bible, though its been around for hundreds of years, can always bear fresh content.

It is the very breath of God. Feast upon the Word - delight in its truths and allow it to illuminate the path before you.
