"for you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light...Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them..."

Ephesians 5:8, 11)

Repentance never ends. Reveal every hidden sin so that what was in the darkness can be exposed by His marvelous light.

Share your sins with those that you can entrust and that can speak truth into your life. Things in darkness are seemingly hidden, but God sees all things. And it is futile to continue to have them be shrouded. Instead, let God's merciful light shine upon these areas of our lives so that "we can live as wise, not as unwise" (v. 15).

For "no immoral, impure or greedy person - has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." (v. 5)

The Gospel tells us that we are set free from the bondage of sin - we have found victory in the victorious cross of Christ. Yet our battle and fight against sin never just dissipates easily. We must continue to live this life of honest repentance and faith.
