I came upon a mini milestone the other day when I finally reached #100 on my devotional "series" (if we can even call it that).
I don't know exactly why I started numbering my devotionals but I always anticipated the big ol' #100 post coming for a while and thought that I should make it sweet, exceptionally better so to say, than the rest of my entries.
But I quickly realized that, that would be dishonest - it in effect would've meant I spent a little bit more time on the post, a little bit more time in the Word, when in reality, the point of the devotionals was for me to simply share my regular devotionals I did in the Word. It wasn't designed to impress but simply to bless (for those that actually read it).
Nonetheless, I've decided from here on out to just simply write. Instead of making it a special devotional series or whatever, I'm just going to try and jot stuff down here as I see fit. Maybe you'll get a devotional (but I won't title it that), or maybe you'll get a quick musing or quip.
Regardless, this was just one really long entry to say - I'm going to stop the numbering system and just use this space for what it was for - to write.
