"Do not let your hearts envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off."
Proverbs 23:17, 18
"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain... where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.."
Hebrews 6:19, 20

Jesus Christ is our present hope - He takes away our sin, restores us back to God and allows us to live this life in freedom, true joy, and peace. He, as our great high priest, went before us into the inner sanctuary, a place designated only for those that are able to, and allowed us to enjoy freedom in entering into that same resting place of God. Because of this, we can always place our trust in Him, and Him alone. We can fix our eyes on Jesus and He will always provide the hope for every circumstance in this world.
Jesus Christ guarantees our future hope - Our resurrection and eternal life are promised and guaranteed to us because of what Jesus has done for us on the Cross. His blood covers us and His finished, atoning work on the Cross applies to us a hope which anchors our soul and will never/can never be taken away from us! Because of our future hope, we can be zealous for the things of God and not envy sinners and the ways of the world. Our future hope gives us great joy and pleasure to know that the joys experienced her on earth will pale in comparison to the joys experienced in our future home - it will be magnified infinite times over in the life to come.
My hope is built on nothing less,
than Jesus' blood and righteousness!
