no one like Him

The officers then came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, "why did you not bring him?" The officers answered, "no one ever spoke like this man!"
John 7:45, 46

No one ever spoke like Jesus.
We must learn to rest in Him, come to Him, and drink from His waters.

"If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as teh Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'"

Even the very officers sent to arrest Jesus were compelled by His words.

Jesus longs to speak to us. If we would listen for His voice, it would be more than sufficient for us. We must long to be captivated by Him and His Word.

We must remind ourselves, again, this day, to be resolved to listen to Him.
