God is NOT like us.

i will not execute my burning anger; i will not again destroy Ephraim; for I am God and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, and i will not come in wrath - Hosea 11:9

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? - Numbers 23:19

sometimes, i fall into the error of forgetting that God is not like humans. He isn't punitive. He isn't bitter. He isn't petty. He's completely, whole-heartedly, content with Himself for He is the spring of life and joy.

God is God and i am but a man. but i am loved by a God such as Him.
